Intimate Wedding at Namu Korean Eats, Durham, NC

Roberta and Adam’s wedding at Namu was the epitome of intimacy and heartfelt celebration. Nestled in one of their favorite restaurants, the couple shared the evening with their closest family and friends, creating memories that felt as warm and familiar as their favorite meals.

“Rings can be such a beautiful symbol of marriage. Starting as stardust formed into gold by the gravitational pressure of the earth. While the rings are mostly gold, they also have small amounts of copper, iron, platinum, and other precious metals for strength and bonding.
Love may be the main element in a marriage but a little bit of forgiveness, kindness, patience, humility, and more are what really bonds and helps keep it strong.”

This was the most beautiful metaphor for the rings I have heard so far, paraphrased from Adam's father who officiated the wedding. Made even more special by the fact that Roberta's father, Ney, made the rings himself.

Namu’s casual Korean-inspired cuisine paired perfectly with local craft beer, wine, and a coffee bar, reflecting the couple’s laid-back yet thoughtful style. Guests enjoyed the lively atmosphere as they shared laughter and stories over delicious food and drinks.

The evening ended with a sparkler exit, sending Roberta and Adam off under a canopy of glowing light and cheers from their loved ones. It was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple—Roberta and Adam’s day wasn’t about grandeur but about the simple, beautiful moments that truly matter: family, good food, and an abundance of love.

Congratulations to this amazing couple!
